A long-standing goal of the disability rights movement has been to secure equal opportunities and equal rights to live without barriers in the physical world. We seek proposals that foucs on policies, programs and services, including universal design, that remove physical barriers for people with disabilities in the worlds of work, entertainment, home and community; as well as advocacy strategies that result in greater physical access through changes in and implementation of policies, regulations and awareness.
