NM LEND Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Program
Thank you for your interest in our training program. Here you will find information concerning applicant requirements for acceptance into the NM LEND Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Program as well as financial assistance available to help you obtain advanced training in your discipline and prepare you to take a leadership role in working with children with disabilities.
Information on this site includes:
- Application form
- Recommendation forms (2) to be completed by two different faculty members from your department
- Check-off list
- A copy of the NM LEND brochure
In addition, you will need to provide the following:
- Unofficial transcripts of all college work
- An essay not to exceed 300 words describing why you would like to participate at a long-term trainee/fellowship in NM LEND
The application form and essay may be
completed online.
The core faculty member from your discipline or the Interdisciplinary Training
Director would be happy to assist you in the application process if you choose.

applications received by April 1 of each year will be given preference.
