About Us

The Library and Information Center for the Community (LINC) is a part of the University of New Mexico's Center for Development and Disability (CDD) located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. LINC strives to provide a high quality, evidence based, family and consumer friendly, specialized resource center on disability to the CDD and the New Mexico community.

LINC currently offers the most comprehensive collection of disability resources in all of New Mexico. This includes books, journals, videocassettes and information kits on a wide range of disabilities and disability related resources. Our services also include reference librarian assistance, literature searches, interlibrary loan, access to full text articles and Internet information.

LINC receives its funding through grants from the Department of Health and the National Library of Medicine.
