The Library and Information Center
for the Community (LINC) is a part of the University of New
Mexico's Center for Development and Disability (CDD) located
in Albuquerque, New Mexico. LINC strives to provide a high
quality, evidence based, family and consumer friendly, specialized
resource center on disability to the CDD and the New Mexico
community.
LINC currently offers the most comprehensive
collection of disability resources in all of New Mexico. This
includes books, journals, videocassettes and information kits
on a wide range of disabilities and disability related resources.
Our services also include reference librarian assistance,
literature searches, interlibrary loan, access to full text
articles and Internet information.
LINC receives its funding through
grants from the Department of Health and the National Library
of Medicine.
