Follow-up Conference Calls to Support Further Plan Development:

These events are part of a strategic approach to meeting Indicator 6 for LEAs who need assistance or would like to improve on they are doing. PSN will be supporting LEAs to take a look at where they are and to develop action plans that would support them in making any changes they would like to make.  Participating in this activity is optional for each LEA.

Facilitator:

Judy Kimmel, MA, experienced facilitator and consultant, will assist school district teams in a planning process focused on preschool inclusion, LRE and district efforts toward meeting SPP Indicator 6. Starting where districts are presently in providing a continuum of options, participating teams will be supported in creating achievable plans to continue strengthening their inclusion settings.

Districts are encouraged

to include on their planning teams staff representing administration, direct services (teachers and therapists), as well as potential Early Childhood partners (Head Start, child care and NM PreK), who provide services the the community for preschool children both with and without IEPs.
