Welcome New Staff Members: Mara Brenner and Michelle Staley

Mara comes to the CDD-Preschool Network with 20 years of experience working with young children and their families. She has lived on bothMara Brenner coasts and her experiences include working in therapeutic preschools, home based support services, consulting to public schools, training and supervising interns, and teaching graduate Practicum/Internship, Child Development and Ethics courses. She also had a private practice in Boston providing therapeutic support/counseling to young children and their families, as well as, supervising counselors working with children in school settings.

Michelle brings experience from many facets, as Michelle Staleya parent, as an early intervention coordinator, college instructor, program development specialist, and state advocacy leader for the Creating Connections for Babies project. Michelle’s work in a small, rural, and culturally diverse community provides her an additional awareness and understanding of the challenges regarding issues that affect young children, their families, and the programs that support them.
