About the Preschool Network

The mission of the Preschool Network (PSN) is the full inclusion of young children in family and community life through access to quality services and systems of care.

PSN works toward this goal by providing training and technical assistance to public school preschool programs for children with special needs and their community partners. Services are provided on an "as-requested" basis. They are designed to meet the unique needs of each school district. PSN services reflect evidence-based, recommended practices in the field of early childhood education. All provided services help school districts comply with state and federal regulations.

PSN projects include:

• AIM High Inclusion Support Project
• Quality Childcare for All
• NM Early Childhood Transition Initiative

PSN supports the following projects: Special Quest, and the Ready to Learn Project.

The Preschool Network is funded by:

• New Mexico Public Education Department
• Special Education Bureau
• New Mexico Department of Health Family, Infant, Toddler Program
• New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department

Services are provided at no cost to school districts.
