Referral Information

1. If you have concerns for your child we recommend that you first contact a NM FIT Early Intervention provider. Please call 1-877-696-1472 or 1-800-552-8195 to find your local Early Intervention (EI) provider.
   
   
2. Talk with your FIT EI Family Service Coordinator and Therapists to decide if an ECEP evaluation may be right for your child.
   
   
3. Work with your FIT EI Family Service Coordinator to make a referral to ECEP or see referral forms available on this website.
   
   
4. Use the Checklist to gather all referral paperwork and mail or fax to:

Please Note:

• ECEP evaluations are scheduled after referral paperwork is received. ECEP typically schedules at least 2-3 months in advance, or more, based on demand and location.
• ECEP does not provide on-going therapies. Please call 1-877-696-1472 or 1-800-552-8195 for therapy services in your area.
