Dr. Hornstein has worked in the field of early child development for over 35 years. After 15 years working with children and families and affecting public policy in Maine he received his doctorate at Harvard University in Human Development and Psychology. His research focuses on the emotional development in young children with additional interest in cross-cultural issues, parenting, and creativity.
Rachel Talamandez is the coordinator for the Santa Clara County Brazelton Touchpoints site and directs the Santa Clara County Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Certificate Program as part of her work with Santa Clara County Mental Health. She has presented at several local and national conferences on infant mental health, home visitation, trauma and young children, and reflective practice, including the Zero to Three National Training Institute.
