2010 Survey on Independent Living
What’s important to New Mexicans with Disabilities about living independently in the community?
With funding provided by the New Mexico Human Services Department, the Division conducted a statewide survey of New Mexicans with all types of disabilities asking them:
- What was important to them about living independently,
- How much assistance they received to live independently and how much assistance they actually needed, and
- How much choice they had in where they live?
