barbara overman, Associate Professor, UNM College of Nursing
Barbara Overman is an Associate Professor at UNM’s College of Nursing. She works with the Division on several projects, including serving as the co-chair of the multicultural outreach workgroup of the Reeve Foundation’s Paralysis Task Force; the Division project with the New Mexico Health Policy Commission to develop policy alternatives to malpractice litigation for injury reduction and equitable compensation in childbearing care; and a project to improve outreach efforts on the Navajo Nation for people who are paralyzed.
