Access to health care for people with disabilities
With funding from the Centers for Disease Control and prevention, Division staff conducted a comprehensive study of issues faced by people with multiple types of disabilities in gaining access to health care in New Mexico.
The study included a statewide population survey, interviews with health care providers and focus groups with people with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities.
