Orientation and mobility specialist. Teacher of the visually impaired since 1991. Co-instructor for VIISA (Vision Inservice in America) training for early intervention/childhood professionals serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who are visually impaired. Co-facilitator of the distance education course "Assessments and Interventions:  Case Studies in Deafblindness."  Teacher of Hand in Hand Jan Van Dijk curriculum.

Personal reason for working in this area and consulting to project

To make information about deafblindness more accessible to New Mexicans in a variety of formats. To continue to expand knowledge base regarding deafblindness and the opportunity to educate and interact with professionals.
