Principal of the New Mexico Preschool of the Visually Handicapped.  Early childhood special education with emphasis on children with severe multiple impairments including deafblindness. Early childhood transitional support. VIISA trainer (Vision Inservice In America Training) to increase skill in providing best practice education to infants and young children with vision loss. National certification as instructor of the visually impaired. Distance education course development in deafblindness.  Facilitator of the distance education course "Assessments and Interventions:  Case Studies in Deafblindness."

Personal reason for working in this area and consulting to project

Desire to make a difference for families and children. Continued development of distance education coursework. Continued growth in areas of assessment, problem solving, and consultative skills.
