To keep you updated with activities taking place through the CSPD efforts on the Navajo Nation, I am sending you a “Friday Fax” with information about current and upcoming professional development activities.

Current Events

This past week, training and technical assistance was provided as follows:

• A meeting was held with the Western New Mexico University/Gallup Graduate Studies Center to discuss and explore a grant proposal for professional development program (March 6).
• A meeting was held with Wingate High School (March 6 & 9) to discuss and explore a demonstration grant program for Indian Children.

Upcoming Events

March 10, 2006.

Introduction to the Academic Articulated Standards in Arizona training at Sinagua High School mini auditorium in Flagstaff, 8:30 am–11:30 am.

March 19-21, 2006.

The BIA Advisory Board for Exceptional Children meeting in Casa Grande, AZ. Further information: 505-248-7530.
