To keep you updated with activities taking place through the CSPD efforts on the Navajo Nation, I am sending you a “Friday Fax” with information about current and upcoming professional development activities.

Current Events

This past week, training and technical assistance was provided as follows:

• The Teaching of Reading class for teachers was conducted last weekend (October 21–22) at Wide Ruins Community School.
• A Classroom Walk-Through follow-up was scheduled (November 8) with Chinle Agency at the Cottonwood Day School for agency school administrators.

Upcoming Events:

November 3, 2005.

UNM/NAU Quarterly Meeting.

November 4–5, 2005.

The Teaching of Reading class for teaching staff at Wide Ruins Community School.

November 8, 2005.

Follow-up on-site visit at Cottonwood Day School for Chinle Agency school administrators.
