To keep you updated with activities taking place through the CSPD efforts on the Navajo Nation, I am sending you a “Friday Fax” with information about current and upcoming professional development activities.
This past week, training and technical assistance was provided as follows:
During this last year of our CSPD contract providing service to schools on the Navajo Nation, we will concentrate on (1) making on-site visits to schools iidentified in corrective action, and (2) providing training to address special education priorities on an agency level. Although we will be guided by our scope of work, we realize that needs outside of our scope of work will be emerging throughout the school year; we can help schools access additional trainings and help identify other funds if necessary. As regional training needs emerge, we will be in consultation with the agency education line office so we can meet the needs of the entire agency.
