To keep you updated with activities taking place through the CSPD efforts on the Navajo Nation, I am sending you a “Friday Fax” with information about current and upcoming professional development activities.

We always look forward to hearing from you as to how we might facilitate a plan, including Project IDEAS, for your agency or school or for providing technical assistance or training above and beyond what we have currently set out to do in the present scope of work.

March 28–29, 2005

Improving Communities of Practice participation in the Association of University Centers on Disabilities’ (AUCD) Technical Assistance on Cultural and Linguistic Competence meeting, Denver, CO.

March 30–31, 2005

Curriculum Mapping workshop for general/special education teachers and the curriculum director at the Rocky Ridge Boarding School is cancelled.

April 1, 2005

Curriculum mapping workshop at Chinle Boarding School is cancelled.

School-Wide Positive Behavior Support: Implementing BEST training at the Kaibeto Boarding School for school staff.

Meeting with Shiprock Agency special education coordinator at UNM-Gallup to discuss the agency Project IDEAS training plan.
