Olivia Nevarez, Regional Family Specialist

Olivia Nevarez is the proud mother of a ten-year-old son who has autism, stepmother of two, and step-grandmother of two. She enjoys spending her down time with her husband and son, as well as riding horseback and skiing. She is an active reservist with the United States Navy and she proudly serves our country.

Olivia is currently employed with the Department of Health as a Site Manager with the Senior Citizen's Center in San Miguel, New Mexico and at the same time she is working towards her Master's degree in Social Work. Previously, Olivia worked for the New Mexico Human Services Department, Department of Labor, and the Office of the State Engineer.

Olivia is excited to be working with the Parent Network and is committed to becoming a strong advocate for this population. She states that she would like to see our state as the trendsetter for autism awareness as well as the lead in terms of services for those who have autism.
