Sonar Vision Glasses for Persons Who Are Blind

R.J. Cooper is re-selling a new product, Sonar Vision glasses for  persons who are blind.  He has  tried them with a bunch of adults that are  blind, and they thought they were really cool.  The glasses are NOT a replacement for a cane or guide dog, but rather, they are a  supplement.  And from several people's reactions to them, they are a  very "nice" supplement.  As you get close to anything, the glasses  'beep' gently in a higher pitch.  As you move away from that thing, the pitch decreases.  When nothing is in the glasses 'field of vision',  there is no beep.  There is a volume control. The 'field of vision' is 40 degrees 'cone' in front of the glasses, which, of course, can be  pointed anywhere simply by moving your head.

The glasses are made in Hungary and I have found nothing like them in the world, at anything near this price.

They are available in small, medium, and large sizes.  They are quite lightweight.

Assistive Technology ProductsR.J. Cooper will be selling the Sonar Glasses for $329 plus shipping fees.  The manufacturer also will be retailing for this same amount, so going direct to the manufacturer will not save any money.
