A variety of trainees from many disciplines including Speech-Language Pathology, Medicine, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Nutrition participate in the clinic both as participants and observers.

During our clinical time with a family, the Autism Programs staff attempt to answer questions about diagnosis and next steps for families. Staff request that families supply any previous evaluations of their child such as school testing, IEPs, etc. the Autism Programs assist families with locating community and statewide resources that may be appropriate for their child.

The Autism Diagnostic clinic is currently operating with a waiting list. Families are encourged to contact the clinic staff immediately if interrested in an evaluation. For further information regarding the Autism Clinic, please contact Cory Ann Thornton, 505-272-0275, 1-800-270-1861.
