An important part of every evaluation involving people (or “human subjects”) is to ensure that they are informed about what the evaluation is trying to accomplish, what they will be asked to do during the study, any risks that they might face, and their rights as a participant. The evaluation of "I Can Do It, You Can Do It" was approved by the Human Research Review Committee (HRRC) of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. The HRRC reviews all evaluations before they begin, including any surveys or interview questions, to ensure that participants are fully informed about the evaluation before they consent to participate.
